Tierra de Cinéfagos

Pese a que nuestras crónicas no han finalizado, sí que lo ha hecho el festival -al menos en términos de premios-, así que a continuación os dejamos la lista con los premiados de la recien finalizada 44 edición del festival. Sorprende que el premio a la mejor película y al mejor actor pertenezca a la nueva cinta de Kevin Smith “Red State” -a falta de ver- por tratarse de un género muy alejado de su habitual. Me parece absolutamente justo el premio a  la mejor dirección a Na-Hong Jin por su “The Yellow sea” -como leereis en mi próxima crónica-  y si hubiera que destacar una gran premiada esa sería “Attack the Block” de Joe Cornish (arriba en la foto, a la derecha) que ha sorprendido con su premio especial del jurado, aunque no tanto con el premio del público, y también ha sido premiada por su banda sonora  y un premio de la crítica. Por lo demás, los premios han estado muy repartidos y es que éste año ha habido gran variedad de propuestas, tal vez no tan centradas en el género como cabía esperar (he echado en falta más terror y fantástico propiamente dicho), pero de naturaleza muy variopinta.

Personalmente, lo que si he visto un disparate (digámosle palmada en la espalda entre colegas) es el palmarés “Melìes d’Or” a mejor película europea a “Balada triste de Trompeta”, posiblemente la peor película de Alex de la Iglesia, y no es porque no las tenga malas.
